Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it and what rights you have under UK GDPR.

Who we are

Cleanique Ltd. ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Our registered address is Egerton House, River Lane, Chester CH4 8RH. You can contact us by telephone on 01244 681300 or by email at info@cleanique.co.uk.

What data we collect

We collect only the information you choose to give us. That typically includes:

  • Your name, business name, email address and telephone number
  • The property or business address relevant to a quote or collection
  • Details of the service you're enquiring about, including volumes and schedules
  • Any additional information you include in your message

Our enquiry form opens your own email application with the details pre-filled. The message is only sent when you choose to send it, and it reaches us as an ordinary email.

Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote — our legitimate interest
  • To provide and administer the services you've asked for — performance of a contract
  • To keep records required for accounting and tax — legal obligation

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have specifically asked us to.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses a single essential cookie to remember your cookie preferences. Any analytics or embedded content, such as Google Maps on our contact page, is only loaded after you have given consent. You can change your preferences at any time from the link in our footer.

Sharing your data

We share personal data only where necessary: with our email and IT providers, our accountants, and where we are required to by law. We do not transfer personal data outside the UK or EEA except where our service providers do so under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to a contract are kept for up to 24 months. Records relating to customers are kept for as long as we work together and then for six years, to meet accounting and legal requirements.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, correct it, ask us to erase it, restrict or object to our use of it, and request portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@cleanique.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page.
